They’ve been discussing the upper bounds of a Cat V for a while now. Such a storm has not happened yet so we have had no need to create a Cat VI… if we’re making hypothetical categories let’s flesh it all the way out to Category 1M!!
Until a storm that breaks the mold of Cat V actually happens these articles feel a bit sensationalist.
