  2. Republicans are traitors, vote the fuckers out this election.

  3. Here’s the weird thing. Republicans are supposed to be small government people, but they’re lining up behind a dictator that’s been in power for almost 30 years. They supposed to support fledging democracies and grass roots drives for self-determination. And instead they’re supporting fascism and oligarchs. They may not like/support Biden, but what they’re actively promoting is very unamerican. People waving “Don’t Tread on Me” flags and screaming about the sanctity of the Constitution and Bill of Rights seemingly forgot that a small disorganized group of misfits didn’t want to be ruled by a tyrannical king. And they couldn’t throw off the shackles alone. So they sought help from a foreign power to send supplies, and arms, and an entire fleet to help corner the British. And their reaction now is…it’s not our problem to support democracy and waste our money! It’s really a baffling exercise in anti-Republican views from…Republicans.

  4. Donald Trump doesn’t have a single care about the border. He just wants to keep his cult outraged until the election is over.

  5. Republicans are anti-americans and anti-western and anti-democracy. Any republican (voter) supporting Russia is a brainwashed wreck of a person. Pull out your heads out of Putins ass!

  6. Reacting sharply would be announcing a Federal task force into investigating Russian influence on US politicians, as a shot across the bow of the traitors.

Strong words does nothing in a world where Republicans can’t hear anything.

  7. Sad times. Sad fucking times. I hope you americans do the right thing this next november

  8. Can’t President Biden executive order or emergency action some funds for Ukraine “to prevent genocide”?

  9. If the independent voters are paying attention to what’s going on, GOP will likely lose control of all 3 branches for a very long time.

I’m an independent voter, to me the GOP looks like they’re controlled by Trump or the kremlin or both.

  10. Bidens reaction: “I’m uh I um… ablehbehphhpidpudbd… my son, Hunter he uh… phhfidfudvladfphud… what am I doing? What am I doing here?”

  11. Before we bash the GOP completely…..”Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) voted no, citing opposition to $10 billion in military aid to Israel given the deaths of more than 27,000 Palestinians in Gaza. Democratic Sens. Ed Markey (Mass.), Bob Menendez (N.J.), Alex Padilla (Calif.) and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) also voted no.”

” Republican Sens. Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), James Lankford (Okla.) and Mitt Romney (Utah) voted to advance the measure. ”

The vote failed 49-50. If the dems stood 100% behind it it wouldn’t have passed. We need to stop blaming “left vs right” and creating more division. Start naming names, and looking at who votes on what and why.

  12. Why are the democrats adding $60 billion dollars for Ukraine in a border bill to secure the U.S. borders? Seems like a separate bill would be more honest.

  13. Parties can evolve over time (in good and bad directions). The Republican nominee ends up controlling a lot of the poliicy, especially if they become president.

Reagan essentially booted out liberal Republicans while bringing in the religious right, fiscal conservatives, free marketers, war hawks and southern racists.

Bush heavily brought in war hawks, big business and southern racists. He kept the religious right.

Trump aggressively brought in racists and the religious right and booted the war hawks, and got rid of free marketers. Whether or not this is a permanent shift is yet to be seen.
Although Traitor Trump may be anti-China, he is pro-Russia (or more realistically anti-Ukraine because Zelensky didnt dish dirt on Biden to help his election). Putin is not a communist, but his actions have become identical to the communists.
Putin is obviously able to be very persuasive in real life — against several presidents. He just terribly misplayed taking over the rest of Ukraine (but not Crimea). Trump is totally under his spell.

  14. Its wild how naive the majority of reddit is when it comes to politics.

  15. It’s interesting that not a single comment here touches on the perverse fact that politicians lump a bunch of unrelated shit together into these bills.

In a functioning government, both parties would be able to deal with important issues separately instead of trying to hold each other hostage with omnibus bills that suck ass.

I mean, FFS pass a bill that provides Ukraine with the aid it needs and debate the border security issue individually.

  16. Traitorous pieces of shit republicans. Get them the fuck out of office

  17. Why is it every election year now Americans are paralyzed from any actions? And it seems every year is an election year.

  18. State of the Union address. Make a case so a fourth grader can understand. Provide concrete evidence. This is the only way independents and moderate Republicans will turn on Trump.

  19. Biden is old enough that as a Senator he voted to pull aid from South Vietnam. And now his war is being defunded.

  20. Republicans are always for “America First!” and want to reserve money for Americans but “Not like that!”

“America First” doesnt mean gove money to homeless Veterans or providing School children with free Breakfast/Lunch. “Not Like That”

Instead that money goes to Rich Billionaire American Oligarchs, with the promise to create jobs and pay fair wages…. hmmm how is that going for us right now?!

  21. But did he slam them? Blast them? Clap back? If not I only see weakness! /s.

  22. Get used to it. If we get Trump, Europe will be practically non existent to the US.

  23. Crazy how they went from hating Russia to inadvertently supporting it, for some or wholly (like Carlson) just goes to show how propaganda takes hold.

  24. The GOP is nothing more than a Russian funded cult these days, going to be hard to get though to them

  25. What other pork was included? Is it too much to ask for a bill to include only one item each? Why do they always need to sneak other things in there make another bill for that.

  26. lol, the sheep all shreeking from WTF? **pravada**? Y’all gettin played
