I did have a MySpace account once, just to see what it was, it deserved to die. It was 99% kids looking to hook up or meet in a park.
My 2003 MySpace relationship status remains correct.
I’ve still got the 1998 edition of the Rough Guide to the Internet. It has guides to things like Gopher, Usenet, IRC and FTP as well as the web and email. The biggest section is the guide to web sites. Dialup was expensive and search engines were pretty terrible so it was useful to have something offline to refer to.
