  1. I think Rood Lane is actually St Mary at Hill, unless that part of the street was renamed, Rood Lane still exists a bit further up. I recognise that clock, my favourite Indian restaurant is just a little way past it.

  2. I don’t think pic #1 is 1962. It’s most likely to be June 4th to 6th 1961.

    The Lorry washers from 1980 look much like an older photo…and the Fleet St 1910’s, could that have been around 1914 as recruiters were looking for troops in the Great War?
