  1. >A plea to my Democratic friends: It’s time to start calling Joe Biden a great president. Not a good one. Not a better choice than Donald Trump. Joe Biden is a historically great president. Say it with passion backed by the conviction that it’s true.

    >Because it is.

  2. the covid vaccination roll-out prob saved about 2-3 million American lives. he is a hero for this alone

    everything else has been gravy

  3. I was honestly on the fence about Biden when he won the primary in 2020, I only knew I couldn’t stand another four years of the orange stain. I’m very pleased to have my misgivings proven wrong and I can’t wait to see what he can do with four more years. Especially if we can get the house back!

  4. Is there a comprehensive list of Joseph R. Biden’s legislative accomplishments?

    Not just the headliners.

    Looking for every bill, executive order or piece of legislation.

    My searches have only produced convoluted samples of his mainstream accomplishments.

  5. I will second that statement! When Democrats led Congress in Biden’s first two years, they accomplished so much. They laid the foundation on which this magnificent economy and society flourishes. President Biden and our Secretary of State restored our respect and brought

  6. Good with some serious issues. Every president has them. No president is perfect. That said, he is better than the alternative of the last election. Think of the serious issues of recent past prez’s: Trump – just being himself; tossing the pandemic playbook; the secret Putin exchange, comments after Charlottesville, etc. Obama – the tan suit. Bush – Cheney.

  7. With the utter mess he was left with, the embedded sabotage all throughout out institutions from the last administration, post covid/lockdown economy, obstructive GoP Controlled house, dealing with 2 wars, making enemies of billionaires, and a motley crew of right wing agitators controlling an entire political party like a hive mind cult – yeah he’s doing pretty damn great.

  8. Just imagine the supreme court was unbiased and actual Democrats held both house and senate too, the world might actually be a pretty good place

  9. I have been impressed how well he has been able to keep this all together no matter how many times the gop has tried to tare it down.

  10. He’s just been quietly working away at things without drawing attention to himself. Even though he’s not always working at something I agree with (that’s just democracy in general), it’s just what I wanted from a president after Trump.

  11. I’m in my early 40’s, Biden is hands down the most progressive President in my lifetime. Which is funny as shit given how centrist he actually is. Is he a great motivational speaker? Not really, but that’s not why I hired him. He knows DC and wants it to function how it’s supposed to, while simultaneously pointing out nonchalantly where the problems are. He wants us, the voters, to participate and change what he can’t.

    10/10, will vote again.

  12. I moved to Massachusetts a few months ago. My vote doesn’t really matter much up here, just one more blue drop in a deep blue lake, but today, I finally registered to vote. As a Democrat. And more importantly, a Democrat who’s got a good job lined up and feels like his life is finally going somewhere. I did not feel that for much of my 20s, and certainly not during the pandemic. Yes, rent is expensive in Massachusetts. But I feel like I’ve turned a corner in my life, that the current administration has been good for me even if I have my issues with some policies (no President will ever be perfect), and that, having lived for a decade in Florida before this, the alternative would be a horror show.

    I’ll know where I’ll be on Election Day, and I know who I’ll be voting for.

  13. * fixed Covid
    * stopped inflation
    * climate change investment
    * actual gun reform
    * veteran benefits
    * record low unemployment
    * student loan forgiveness

    This short list alone makes him the most progressive president in 50+ years. What the heck else do you want? Y’all better show up to vote for Biden on November otherwise trump is gonna undo all of it, in addition to ending democracy and any hope we have of stopping climate change.

  14. I was 100% against Biden back during the 2020 primary and fully supported Bernie. But now I see Biden as the best president of my lifetime. But that’s because I actually follow politics and policy wins and don’t just watch memes and engage in ageist tropes.

  15. Agreed ,he the Fixer and at the same time fighting Trump and magots.

  16. In 2020 I voted against Trump. In 2024 I’m voting for Biden.

  17. I’ve been saying it! People just want to tell me how old he is.

  18. A+: Antitrust

    A+: COVID, first part

    A: Infrastructure

    A: LNG plant permit denial

    A+: Ukraine

    F: Blank check for Netanyahu

    B: Student loan relief

  19. These articles do as much harm as good. While many of Biden’s accomplishments are true in the general sense, people aren’t feeling it locally. Too many of those achievements have trickled up instead of down. The stock market being at an all-time high, the very first achievement cited in this article, isn’t a reflection of the US or Biden doing well, it’s a reflection of rich people doing well, which IMO is a lot more of a failure than an achievement. Sure, on average we’re all doing better, but in reality it’s because Jeff Bezos bought 15 more boats and the rest of us gave up ice cream because we can’t afford it any more.

    Biden needs to hammer some big companies with antitrust or consumer violations and send the stock market *down* if he wants working-class people to feel his accomplishments. Repeatedly telling people suffering ten different ways they’re in great shape because the market is up isn’t landing nearly as well as the consultants think. That said, this is what I’d expect them to be trying now to win both voters and corporate donations, and it leaves room to change direction and try something different if the messaging isn’t catching on by summer.

  20. he’s been way more effective than I thought he’d be..

    and everything is so much calmer.

  21. Never mind the vile discourse constantly surrounding Trump, let’s look at the bills passed under both presidents. Trump’s signature bill: the tax reduction bill, which was primarily a handout for the rich. Biden’s signature bills: Inflation Reduction Act (the climate bill), the infrastructure bill, and the CHIPS Act. It’s night and day. The bills passed under Biden are huge, they actually invest in America’s future.

    This is to say nothing of Trump’s ass-backwards foreign policy of sneering at our allies and jacking off our enemies. At least Biden can walk America in a straight line.

  22. Agreed. Now lets get everyone out to vote for Biden this November!

  23. Vote! Don’t let 2016 repeat. This time will be worse.

  24. The Dow Jones stock market index is up more than 10,000 points since Biden took office. Look it up.
