I loved snow as a kid, but as an adult that has to work for a living, I fucking hate snow now.

Im on the Scottish border, its supposed to be a blizzard about now but its just a bit chilly and dry.

I hope we get a good freeze so i can walk the dog without sinking. Its always nice walking over the frozen fields in the fog on a cold morning with the hound.

Here in East Riding we have a drizzle and sleet. It tried to snow but then gave up, so now it’s just miserable 😞

We had an insane dumping yesterday, don’t think anyone really saw it coming even though we knew we’d get a bit. Already had snow a few weeks ago but honestly it’s nice to have it back for a few days, especially since we seem to dodge that horrible slushy stage I’m used to on the mainland.
Lots of the older folk I work with are saying between the storms and all the snow this is one of the worst winters the islands have had in decades. I certainly miss being able to walk into a shop and know I’ll be able to walk out with at least something fresh.
What do you mean finally? -9C when I started the car at 10.30 this morning and this is our second fall this year.
It rained today first time since the massive flood and still no snow
Glad to see the white stuff falling! Hopefully the travel delays won’t be too bad. Wrap up warm folks and stay safe out there.
