Wow, Putin made up a casus beli like any nation, that goes to war with their neighbour. Literally all sides did this during WW1 as a basic example. Putin is cringe don’t get me wrong, but him being an autocrat doesn’t make him literally Hitler.

Hitler is absolutely evil but we shouldn’t rewrite history the guy is bad enough without it. Germans got discriminated in Poland and Czechoslovakia and I think annexation of Austria was more than justified considering that they wanted to be part of Germany back then and didn’t want to be independent like nowadays. Annexation of the Sudetenland should have happened in the Treaty of Versailles along ethnic lines but the Entente didn’t want to have a highly populated Germany and Borders were drawn in a way to weaken Germany. Danzig was inhabited by a German majority and the Polish corridor was a complete scam, Germans even had to pay for going through it to Königsberg. Countries went to war over way less, not saying that I am in favor of it, but Entente fucked up big time. They should have drawn borders better and just enforced the treaty of Versailles instead of allowing to rearm when Hitler relatively openly spoke about wanting to go to war.

Throwing around the term fascist and nazi like this diminishes the term. A leader can be authoritarian, aggressive and false without being a fascist or a nazi. The bringing up of MAGA here also reeks of Americanism. Trump supporters can in no way be realistically compared to nazis
