Lol…so that’s where Pumpkin hid the loot…
That was an interesting interview. I’ve never watched Putin speak so much. He said he sincerely wants to see him go home, but the U.S has to come to the table first. Dudes a total hostage of a hostile foreign power, and Tuck seemed waaaay toooo excited to see Vlad.
Translation: Putin signals he wants a media circus to use against Biden in the run-up to the election.
Keep tucker and let’s call it even
Hmmm, yeah, I can see where asking a literal sociopathic serial killer if he’s a killer might be a bad idea. Especially while sitting in his country, surrounded by military and secret police that the man he’s asking such a question to controls completely, who apparently has no compunction against imprisoning somebody for life just for thinking they looked at him funny. But hey, Tucker got a bone thrown to him. That one man’s theoretically eventual freedom will certainly make up for those tens of thousands of people he indiscriminately killed on plans to dominate another country for personal pride.
Which arms dealer does he want this time?
People thinking the Tucker interview is real when this journalist is held by Russia. Sad
NOW he wants to negotiate? This is just a ploy to help that other being. The orange one.
The best part of the interview was when Putin glossed over Russian involvement with the start of the Second World War.. as if the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact never was a thing.
Lets trade her for Tucker. Who says no?
Probably going to try and have a similar situation near election season like the iran prisoner situation
Stop negotiating with terrorists.
WSJ might as well be the print version of Fox News. Let ’em hang out with his buddies for another year.
Nah. I’m happy that the US is willing to go to bat for its citizens but any American still in Russia knew the risks.
If Tucker only was a man and offered himself in exchange for Gersh and Whelan.
Probably the whole reason the WSJ journalist was incarcerated in the first place
If it’s going to be like the last prisoner swap, we will end up trading him for “Vlad The World Champion of Genocide and Celebrity Rapist that murdered Harambe.”
Putin can keep Tucker
Honestly, any American (especially a journalist) who has willingly gone to Russia over the past couple of years was aware of the risk.
As an American, I’m not personally in favor of releasing assassins and arms dealers in these prisoner swaps.
This guy was arrested less than a year ago, after it was already made abundantly clear by a couple of very high profile cases, that Russia will throw the book at Americans (even if it means trumping up bs charges in some cases) in the hopes of prisoner swaps/political leverage.
I don’t even think a prisoner swap should even be considered in this case. This journalist willingly put himself in a risky and dangerous situation and this is the consequence.
Ofc hes ready to swap, its why Gershkovich was arrested in the first place.
Putin is kinda sexy.
