  1. It might soon ( in 2 centuries) be at consultation stage unless there is an appeal.

  2. Eamo is great. He’ll get no credit when this is finally built in 2032.

I worked on a submission on this years ago. The legal and regulatory system is the problem. Goddamn lawyers. If I was God for a day we’d kill them all and start building tomorrow. Trinity and na Fianna can go get fucked, the common good matters more.

  3. Ah seriously why has this not already been consulted to death? What more could be left to be said? Surely the green parties priority should be getting shovels in the ground so they can at least point to that when it comes to election time at the moment it doesn’t even have planning permission

  4. Just a reminder that just the current iteration of this project is nearly 9 years old.

  5. Which will we get first:

    A) The Dublin Metro?

    B) The commercial deployment of point-to-point teleportation using mater to energy conversion ?

  6. Jaysus there is some amount of green party positive posts today.

Talk about trying to change the narrative.

  7. In other words “the ceremonial kicking of the can down the road”.

  8. The Greens are good for getting things done regardless who they are in Government with. People will continue to parrot nonsense like “all stick no carrot” despite the many grants that are available through the SEAI for example. I respect their willingness to go into government and get things done. I will give them a preference but they have no hope in Cork SW.

  9. I’m gonna appeal it on the basis that I don’t want us getting notions. I think an underground is very notionsy

‘Look at Dublin and their underground, notions’ is what they’ll say
