Peace means that the attention of the Russians moves back inwards.
There will not be peace any time soon.
I said it and will say it again. Putin totally missed his opportunity to reach hesitating Republicans. He did not understand who his audience was. All they wanted are easy talking points to own the libs. More ways to claim MAGA. He came up with an old Soviet-style discourse requiring a long attention span, dates, foreign names and all things that are virtually useless to the MAGA sense of self.

Putin spells it out plainly, but none of the Piece of shit US journalists make trump say it out loud. He says it vaguely to leave room for interpretation where he calls putin and zelensky and orders them to stop war. What he really means is he will abandon ally with whom US has commitments. It is a journalists job to make this kind of things transparent, but they rather ask him questions about grabbing the pussy.
Idk if you guys are watching the video, but he did mention they need to cut aid which is pretty much the only thing that the MAGA crowds want. They don’t really want peace, they just want peace because they don’t want to spend “tax dollars” on war.

Putin wanted Russia to join NATO. NATO was created to counter the USSR and Russia. Putin just does what Putin wants. Peace is Russian peace which means conquer.
Just wondering how the dialogue between the two took place in practice. Putin had an earpiece, but Carlson did not seem to have anything. Does Carlson understand Russian or was he acting like a prerecorded tape with a fixed set of questions, so he did not bother analysing any of the answers?
