  1. As a tomato enjoyer it saddens me to bare witness to the destruction of the tomatoes that I as a tomato enjoy

  2. Idk, wouldn’t it just be smarter to load them onto their truck and steal them and then sell them as Spanish tomatoes instead of just straight-up destroying them? And why do you destroy food in the first place, most countries aren’t food-sufficient and people would starve without agricultural imports.

  3. I wonder whose tomatoes will moroccans destroy to follow the trend

  4. Still not quite the same. The problem is that Moroccan tomatoes have is that the EU doesn’t force on them the same health&safety regulations that it does to EU farmers. Therefore, Moroccan farmers use pesticides banned within the EU and also don’t follow the same health standards, making them more competitive.

Here in Spain we at least follow the same regulations that France uses.

  5. And they say we waste too much food over here. We do, but this isn’t a good look.

  6. They didn’t burn the truck, way more civilized 👍 French L

  7. Ah yes Morocco.. that EU country that complies same regulations than us

  8. Man, wasting food is probably one the most low levels of protest…

  9. Understand their frustration but why not just turn them away. Don’t destroy food. It’s fucking regarded.

  10. New Zealand stoped subsidising farms, 30% of the budget would be better spent on medical research.

  11. Destroying food is always 1000000 IQ. It’s painful to watch.

  12. These are the ones the french should be destroying, they are the ones with lower prices and with weaker (if any) laws restrictions when it comes to fertilizers and pesticides.

  13. Every day farmers lose more and more respect, bunch of cunts.

  14. I’m starting to think rioting farmers is just a European wide thing 🤣

  15. Willfully wasting food is just as bad as being Americunt!

    Change my mind.

  16. Guys guys guys. There’s no need to fight. You can both grow pale tasteless tomatoes while using up the all the local water, creating desertification and be paid fuck all for it

  17. An important difference in this case.

Both Spain and France produce under the EU market regulations and quality standards.

Morocco has no way the same restrictions, legislations, taxes and bureaucracy (apart from lower salaries) and it results in way cheaper production but also lower quality as they use prohibited pesticides inside the EU and so on.

This video, where you can see Moroccan tomatoes entering Spain (EU market) is a proof.

I think it is not fair to allow this products to enter the EU market if they don’t produce under the same rulesests and starting point as the EU farmers. If you want to sell products inside the EU you have to follow our quality requirements… if you can’t match does standards then don’t come here😡
    It is not fair

  18. At least we destroy non-European products *mon ami.*

  19. Shouldn’t they be asleep at that time of day?

  20. And nothing of value was lost .

Spanish ones are already shit but the Moroccan ones lmao it’s just tomatocancer and nothing else

  21. So this shit is really happening? I saw a video where an Italian trucker said that the French were destroying his stuff. I thought it was some fake shit because nobody would be so dumb.

  22. Destroying food is definitely getting you put on the sympathy shit list.

  23. Such a shame, would have loved some real tomatos instead of those red water balloons we have in our stores..

  24. People are starving. But sure lets just throw food away

  25. I mean why don’t protesters send this food to hungry people in the wars in Ethiopia, sudan, Yemen, Mali etc… instead of destroying them?
