I thought it was funny how he took 20mins to explain his version of Ukraine history to say that it was disputed and then later explained that his country recognized Ukraine and gave them independence as a “good-will” gesture. If that’s the case then why even explain all of that in the beginning about history? Just because you don’t like your own country’s actions doesn’t mean that are illegitimate. I think Putin is expecting a win from clip culture but if you watch the entire interview he contradicts himself a ton.
