The idea that Bozzer had any power over the start of this war is laughable. Boris wishes he ever had that much power.
Didn’t Boris also visit just when the Bucha and other massacres got uncovered? I’m inclined to think that’s what made the peace terms impossible for Ukrainians, not whatever the US and UK told them.
Seems like Johnson was a poor investment for Putin after all.
And after all that tennis.
Boris drunk at the KGB party in Italy.
Who remembers that?
Sounds plausible, although Johnson could easily be used a scapegoat too. Johnson is definitely less Churchill and more Homer Simpson, however Putin knows to take no notice of him for that very reason. Johnson could torpedo peace talks but Putin needs no real excuse to invade Ukraine.
Putin is right, but not in the way he is implying.
Boris sent Ukraine thousands of NLAW missiles pretty much as soon as the Russian tanks rolled over the border. That pretty much allowed Ukraine to beat back the siege of Kyiv and stop Russia from forcing a quick surrender and Putin installing a puppet leader.
It’s Boris’s only success as PM.
Putin trying to get some last value for money from his asset by suggesting he had a global influence rather than the comical figure he was/is
The headline could have just left it at “Putin repeats nonsense” because that’s what he does. It doesn’t matter what or who it’s about.
Which is a nonsense all on its own because the invasion was and is entirely within Putin’s control. It doesn’t take any ‘effort’ to resolve it, Putin could withdraw all his forces today and the war would be over.
While being fellated by Tucker Carlson, quite a spectacle.
It’s a sham that they are using the taxpayers money to fund Ukraine. how about we house some people and sort our own mess out instead of funding wars.
..Boris wanted fame and glory and no doubt muddied the waters, off course Boris never lies. Bojo did say after leaving office he was now worth £34m…not laundering are we?
Now this is difficult..who to believe Boris or Putin?
Everything is a nonsense claim when it doesn’t allign with the mainstream narrative. He’s speaking facts.
Putin is not the guy your newspapers and telly brainwash you to think he is.
Who do we believe, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, or Boris Johnson?
Such a tough one, that.
Another great example of how we are a satellite proxy state of neo con Washington. Just happened to pop over for a visit for no other reason and totally co-incidental that the peace talks were almost successful until he left.
No different than Blair, Just Ukrainian blood on his hands.
Plenty of people understood this was his mission at the time including comments in my profile and good old comrade Putin confirmed.
Would take Putin as a leader over any of these Treacherous Neo cons including Starmer.
All he needs to do is share a copy of this document and some kind of evidence the Ukrainians agreed to it. Right?
To be clear, this is a wider strategy by Putin’s clique to paint “Anglo-Saxons” (as they call it) as the “enemies of world peace”.
If you’ve watched state-run Russian-language media (before it all got banned) you’d see just how often they rabbit this back at the Russian people, and a lot of the vitriol gets directed at England specifically, rather than the US as you would expect.
putin could have – and still can – end the Ukraine invasion any day by just pulling the troops back and asking his missile forces to stop shooting missiles there.
Though a scenario where putin asks for some obscene “peace” deal where he gets half of Ukraine, limits its sovereignty (e.g. no joining EU or NATO) and is basically free to re-invade any day, and the UK (when asked for comment) say “that sounds like a terrible deal, rewarding aggression and will lead to more war down the road” is plausible…
Russia really does hold the UK in high regard, it makes me blush sometimes…
Makes sense, NATO are tying up Russia, destroying their military capability in both manpower and equipment without spilling any of there own blood for less than 3% of what NATO spend on defence in a year. Good IRO if you ask me.
It is deeply funny how much Russian propaganda revolves around the delusion that Britain is this powerful on the world stage and effectively Russia’s arch nemesis.
It is so incredibly pathetic and insecure to be this paranoid of a small island.
There is a decades plus trail of lies from Boris. Now all of a sudden he’s credible and should be believed. The same Man who lied to the Queen? Righttttttttt.
The Ukraine war was a convenient distraction from his utter incompetence.
I imagine he did, by saying ‘no we are not just going to tell Ukraine to surrender and stop sending them weapons’
Let me see who do I believe- Boris the bozo or one of the few leaders to stick to his guns?
The mop headeed arse also anointed the son of the ex head to the KGB [Evgeny Lebedev](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evgeny_Lebedev), into the house of lords.
UK intelligence begged him not to but now has a say on all of our futures est 2020.
It’s obviously a lie.
Everything out of his mouth is a manipulation and a lie.
On 25 Feb 22, UKR’s position was that it was ready to negotiate with RUS, including regarding neutrality / not pursuing accession to NATO. Here is a contemporary article about it:
With regard to further peacetalks, the *fifth* round of talks was on 21 Mar 22 and failed to reach an agreement. Talks in Istanbul took place on 29 Mar 22. The Bucha massacre came to light on 1 Apr 22. Boris Johnson arrived on 9 Apr 22. I think Bucha, rather than BoJo the Timelord, scuppered any chance of the talks succeeding.
Putin also said Poland forced Hitler to attack.
That’s about the level of discourse you can expect from this interview.
“Putin, in an interview hosted by Tucker Carlson…”
If the explanation starts with that line you know you’re about to see an absolute tsunami of absolute bullshit.
This was mentioned over a year ago on independent media, why didn’t they rubbish it then?
Putin has gone full scooby doo villain. “I would of gotten away with it too if ot weren’t for meddling Bojo”
Always amusing to see the bots and useful idiots swarm to anything Putin/Russia/Ukraine related
