He might replace gundo’s attacking output imo. He has a bit of that natural attacking instinct in him.
I am watching this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4rpVP7nFxY) which shows how good he has been in the box this season and why we should build around foden.

and the rivals compare him to bums like Saka
Thanks for sharing this – it was also just recommended to me by YT so a sign I definitely need to watch!
excellent video
the biggest zone on his heatmap this season is right where KdB likes to operate, advanced on the right… unfortunately I think as good as Foden is, KdB is KdB, and Phil will probably have to shift leftwards a bit
but I’d still love to see Foden – Rodri – de Bruyne as our starting midfield three
I remember staying up late to watch his debut vs United in pre season and he did not disappoint. Knew straight away we’d have a club legend
Agreed. I know he can be better though, I wanna say majority of times when he’s in those 1v1 situations w the keeper, his finishing is poor. He like scores the goals I wouldn’t expect him to get but the ones that I would expect him to get the keeper saves. Still class though, helped us lots this season.
How much does he need to do to be in ballon d’or discussions?

Somehow Saka is 8 and Foden doesn’t make the list despite being our best player this season… the media is so frustrating.
