3. Why would anyone want a remake of Another Round with Chris Rock playing Mads Mikkelsen?

4. Stupid joke. Plus, Chris Rock has publicly said he doesn’t want the incident to keep following him.

5. I had no idea this was getting remade.

   I am absolutely terrified of the tone they will go for. The original is amusing during the first act. It gets darker and darker as the movie progresses, and the ending leaves itself open to viewer interpretation. Neither of which you would call a ‘happy’ ending.

   Nothing really against the idea of remaking something, but if the point is missed, and the remake is crap, the first time viewer would not find themselves eager to seek out the original.

   Which is always a shame. In this case, the original is exceptionally good.

    Also, not sure how Another Round warrants a remake. It’s my understanding that a lot of the themes and behaviors in the movie relate heavily to Danish culture. So not sure how that translates to another culture entirely without losing its essence.

11. Chris Rock grew in popularity on the internet when he was slapped. But getting slapped doesnt make him a better actor or funny. Hes always been pretty annoying to me outside of his earlier standup special and nobody slapping him is going to make me like him more.
