Shaun Goater ripping GNev apart in the final derby at Maine Road.
Beating the rags was a big deal for us back then!
Also – Dennis Tueart overhead kick winning goal v Newcastle in the league cup final 1976.
Edit – Bert Trautmann would be a good one, he certainly had an interesting life. Former POW in WW2 who was captured by British soldiers and settled in Ashton after the war.
Ended up playing for City for 15 years and broke his neck late on in the 1956 FA cup final but decided to play on with City, eventually winning the cup.
