##The Stupid:
1. **Comparison fundamentally doesn’t hold water.** Collateral damage in a war *does not equal* systematic, industrialised, gas chamber extermination of compliant, subdued captives.
Prisoners held in camps were starved, experimented on, shot, hanged and used as slave labour – if they weren’t gassed on arrival to the camp. Israel is bombing hybrid civilian/paramilitary areas that are **still to this day** firing rockets at Israeli civilians. It’s a ludicrous comparison.
2. **Israel has strategic objectives which are justifiable:** the degradation of Hamas’ military capabilities. This is in response to an explosion of murder, rape and torture perpetrated on civilians with **no strategic aims** on October 7th. No nation in the world would tolerate the 7th October attack without responding.
3. **This is a war. Wars are won with disproportionate force.** To the idea that Israel is somehow using excessive force and this constitutes genocide: no.
Is there a paramilitary force on earth more embedded and hidden within a civilian population than Hamas? Name them if so.
If you continue to hide amongst civilians in a densely populated area then there will continue to be severe civilian casualties. This is not primarily Israel’s moral responsibility. This is Hamas’ responsibility.
4. **The elected leaders of Gaza could end the war at any time by:**
* Releasing the hostages
* Disbanding Hamas
* asking for UN peacekeeper intervention
* handing over the strategists of the 7th October attack to the ICC.
*Someone tell me what could the Jews in Auschwitz and Buchenwald have done to help themselves? What did their leaders and military do to provoke the conflict?*
##The Offensive:
You could choose any genocidal regime in history. You choose the Nazis because they murdered millions of Jews. U think it increases the impact of your comparison. You do it to hurt.

This kind of thing is a mistake, mainly because it really understates the evil of the Nazis. Keep criticisms accurate, Netanyahu isn’t about to put every Palestinian and Israeli Muslim in death camps.
