Europe really have to step up. We simply cannot rely on USA any longer. Europe has to spend a lot more on military as we do today to truly deter Putler from taking irrational steps, and these steps include increasing not only our nuclear arsenal, but building a military force which will be able to if necessary to March to Kremlin.
I hope the Americans finally get to their senses. Failing to support Ukraine marks the decline of the USA as a global power China, Russia and others have been pushing for.
American support would be great and the US is our ally in the global scale, but Europe really needs to step up its military capabilities.
What worries me isn’t the money or production of armaments, but the lack of recruits. Western countries have aging populations and the young people are simply not interested in military.
The only solution seems to be conscription, like the Cold War period, but that brings its own problems.
Europe is economically a giant but its immune systems are incredibly weak to combat both internal and external threats. That’s an increddibly dangerous combination. Europe unfortunately has lost its survival instincts, hope we wake up.
