“Laskiainen” is a Finnish celebration marking the transition from winter to spring, highlighted by outdoor activities like sledding. Its main event falls on Shrove Tuesday. The “laskiaispulla” is a sweet bun flavored with cardamom, filled with whipped cream, and either almond paste or raspberry jam, traditionally enjoyed during this festive period.

I can eat all of them. At least the ones with raspberry jam in them.
1 or 2. I don’t really like them
Depends on size and amount of whipped cream but likely 3-4.

Maybe 3-5
At least 5, served with hot milk naturally
All of them
How many do you have?
I could eat… many.
I’m old and wise. I eat one or two.
Something people find really disturbing, that I prefer having both traditional fillings in my _laskiaispulla_.
You’d better not eat more than 13, there’s a myth the Swedish king Adolf Frederick literally died after eating 14 of them.
I never got how you’re supposed to eat laskiaspulla without squeezing out all the whipped cream as you bite into it, always makes a mess
I usually only manage one, because the exaggerated amount of whipped cream is quite icky. But if push comes to shove, I can eat two. Much prefer the ones with almond paste filling to jam.

‘My strange addiction: laskiaspulla’ episode would be on me
I’m in the US and made them once for a game night with friends….I was so excited, I ate 3 or 4, then was so full. Worth it though. Friends loved them.
Yes
Only half a pulla.

I can eat ½ on once.
Four. Easily.

My grandma always called them carnival pulla haha she’s born and raised in Finland and moved abroad as an adult where she started a family.
I can’t speak Finnish so she always called them carnival pulla when she made them for me
