  1. Given that most of inflation is currently in the services sector, its highly tied to cost of labor. Increasing immigration will increase labor supply, reducing services inflation.

  2. Advanced countries as well as higher educated countries tend to have lower birth rates. Where as the opposite tend to have over population issues.

    The correction for this in every single country I can think of is immigration.

    It’s unfortunate that the right has decided to use immigration as their red scare these days…..but that’s the world we live in.
