  1. I wonder how many farmers got pissed off with JSO road blockades and if the media will go on the same offence of them creating a nuisance and stopping ambulances

  2. Glad to see Brexit has created favourable trade conditions for our farmers /s 🙃

  3. I wonder if the farmers blockades will be treated with the same punitive measures that Extinction Rebellion blockades were treated?

  4. Nope, you’re not allowed to argue, this is what the people voted for., you’re not allowed to talk it down, think of the opportunities, in 50 years time they’ll look back and laugh at this etc etc

  5. What happened to prices going up when the proper border checks come in.

  6. Oh look, it’s our old friend, The Consequences of Our Actions

  7. I’m very supportive of British farming and would support these protests but ultimately people struggling with inflation and the cheapest food imports are exactly what poorer families need right now.

  8. The NFU did warn farmers about voting for Brexit and they had good reason to do so. As bad as the common agricultural policy is and while the basic payment scheme did need scrapping, the Tories never had any plan to create adequate replacements for both, nor did they seem to understand the complexity of trading food with other nations. Their new land management scheme, to replace BPS, does not go far enough to protect the environment, while also doing nothing to help make us less reliant on imports. As with the fishing industry, the Tories just claimed to care to score votes, while leaving industries struggling to survive post-Brexit.

  9. Good for you farmers, every industry feeling the negative effect of the Brexit lies should stand up for themselves.

  10. But say would vote Brexit again. Perhaps blockade the popular conservatives and get JRM to call you lefty farmers

  11. Ahh silly uneducated farmers. How dare they care about their livelihood (that benefits the country more than any other) when there are things going on like people throwing orange paint over pieces of art, or one specific example of war crimes half the world away.

  12. If they get there way going to be good for food prices 😂

  13. DO IT! I’m fed up of the French outdoing us. It’s an embarrassment.

  14. We were told this would happen. Brexit voters want to destroy the UK, only reason why they keep acting this way.

  15. So, let me get this straight. The majority of farmers voted for Brexit, are worse off because of Brexit?

  16. I wonder if Amazon drivers, for example, blockaded roads all over the country, whether the police would sit back and let them do what they want?

How come any group of workers taking action are regarded as enemies of the state, but farmers can get away with bringing the country to a standstill? (Remember them blockading oil refineries a few years back?)

  17. The majority of these farmers probably voted for Brexit.

Well, you made you bed, now sleep.

  18. Not like we weren’t warned…. Suffer ye fools for the price of your folly!

  19. What about ambulances/my pregnant sister in law needing to get to hospital/people just trying to get to work? No, I didn’t think so.

  20. Good on them, farmers have been shafted for too long
