1. Just put on a film called ‘Copland’ on Amazon Prime – looks like it has a massive cast, interesting plot synopsis… only about 15 mins in (no spoilers please if anyone replies to this).

   Got a puppy on my lap, and a beer in my hand, the rest of my night should be good fun!

2. I have a kitten/terrorist in the house, I was almost off and the most almighty crash woke me up, she had knocked one of the guitars off its stand. In the dead of night it sounded like a car crashing through my wall.

   I think the opposite of sheep is shepherd.

3. I was about to go to bed but now I’m hungry again but after three investigations of the fridge I’ve decided I can’t actually be arsed to make cheese on toast. It’s basically torture for me right now so I’m back on the couch watching everybody hates Chris.

4. Just binged the season two of Our flag means death accompanied with wine and cheese. Now I’m too awake and trying to fight away thoughts of Monday.

5. Been listening to Duran Duran today, never really tried them before. The 2021 album was the starting point and I’d recommend, the newest one which is a bunch of re recorded older songs and a few new ones is also good.

   Skipped onto older stuff now, rio and seven tiger

   And you can pipe your music via Bluetooth through the steam deck while playing games which is handy dandy

6. Mouth pain after surgery is keeping me up.

   Good day today though.
   Saw a pair of kingfishers which were beautiful.

   Managed to eat fish and chips

   Met my niece for the first time since a falling out during COVID and all seems good with no bad blood.
   Bought all the bits for my nephew’s gaming pc, and I’m pretty stoked to be building that soon (I might twitch stream it).

7. Taken York City from the basement division into the Premier League this last week; 5 straight promotions, and managed to finish 6th in our first season in the top flight.

   Spent the last hour plundering scout reports to get this squad up the strength, otherwise we’ll be obliterated next season.

8. I really should be asleep, but I had a bit of an unintended lie-in this morning that’s thrown me off a bit (was meant to be starting a new wee side-job this morning, but the weather meant none of the attendees could make it, so staying in bed seemed the natural option).

   Lying in bed with the dog just now and going through some reports as I’ve been asked to step in and take minutes at an AGM tomorrow. At least I’ve been promised cake…

   Hmm, the opposite of a sheep for me would just be a cow. Because of there’s not sheep in my field, there’s blimmin’ cows in it… (Suppose sheep are dumb and fluffy, so what’s something that’s clever and jaggy? A crocodile? A bearded dragon? Something scaly anyway!)

9. It’s weird I want to die but don’t want to upset my mother. I’m quite happy with most things but I just don’t feel there’s anything for me here.

10. I did exactly what I was supposed to today, and it worked out well. Pain and energy levels were in perfect balance for the evening out, and it was nice to try out a restaurant we haven’t been to before. I dressed up nicely and did my makeup and hair nicely so I decided to snap a selfie to commemorate the occasion. I won’t be doing that again, a reality check when I felt pretty was just cruel of me.

    What is the opposite of a sheep? Someone who does their own research instead of trusting mainstream media… 😒
