10. Ozzy had his post sabbath career thanks to Sharon screwing over the bands that made his albums. Randy Rhodes final got into the hall of fame as a contractor because she never let them have any credits. She had them remaster albums without the people who wrote the songs so they wouldn’t get royalties. Sorry I can’t vote for Ozzy, he brings Sharon with him and she sucks.

11. Why is Mariah Carey being nominated, she’s not a rock & roll artist. Has she ever done a rock song?

17. For body of work I really don’t see Sinead as a nominee. If we are going to put in artists that redo other songs for their one hit we need Tiffany in the HOF

18. Ozzy, Jane’s Addiction, and Frampton seem like no brainers to me… I’d also personally champion Sinead, Cher, Tribe Called Quest, and Foreigner, but I get they aren’t everyone’s idea of Hall worthy.

    Who’s next? Liberace? The dilution of the genre is beyond farcical.

33. Soooo…what exactly has Mariah fucking Cary made thats even remotely “rock n roll.” I cant name a single song of hers that isnt christmas related.

    But i guess this is like the Grammy’s where Imagine Dragons somehow won best rock performance despite being an alt pop band.

    Im only 25 so surely i cant be *that* old? I just remember when Rock was *actually* rock.
