Europe’s Trump challenge: Is it ready to fight Vladimir Putin alone?

  1. Why do we even need to consider this?

Why cannot we just send Ukraine everything it needs now? Why are we not doing anymore? You can walk into any crowd anywhere in Europe and they tell you we need to make Ukraine win, so why are we not doing it?

Are we so eager to march towards Russia on our own?

  2. Military Experts predicts NATO will literally obliterate Russian forces in a day on a lopsided scale.

I have interacted with Russian forces in peacetime events, and saw their weapons and techniques. Its 50 years behind America and NATO.

Putin lives in a bubble and his only response is using tactical nukes on cities.

USA will overwhelmingly destroy Russia back to the stone ages. We have EMP weapons which will disable their ability to fire missiles back.

A single American submarine has enough nuke missiles to demolish every major Russian city. And we have over 4 submarines sitting near Russia undetected.

  3. I can easily beat him on my own so not a real question

  4. I think it’s more about nukes than conventional war, Russia cant possibly defeat a 400 million strong union excluding America either way

  5. More like, is it ready to fight Trump-backed Putin alone?

  6. If Trump gets re-elected he will probably send aid to Russia

  7. There is no point to wait for elections, there is a fact: US are not stable in being allies whom EU can depend on. So it’s pretty obvious that EU should start preparing to defend themselves on their own.

  8. The American economy implodes if Russia is going to war against Europe.

  9. There is no need to fight Putin. Russia is not a threat to Europe in any way if you leave it alone. Same with China.

  10. He was trained by Steven Segal, so, he is undefeatable.

  11. The problem is not military combat. Is nukes, no one wins, but that gives the loser side a lot of power. If they were no Nukes around im pretty sure we would have boots on the ground by now and the war would be over.

  12. Bad orange man please protect us? Trump really knows which buttons to push to send his critics in a tailspin. But that is a sideshow.
    – US has kept Europe down for decades to be the only big dog
    – Europe let them, and let sugerdaddy handle the bill
    – Putin saw the weakness but misjudged, got a bloody nose, is trying to pauze and regroup

Now that EU is economically becoming Greta’d to death, what next? So far, pure panic. Expect some of the key EU warmongers move to South America or AUNZ soon, while conscription lands on the table for the plebs.

  13. >Russia’s brazen assault leaves Europe with a dilemma. Putin hasn’t attacked the whole alliance: Should it risk nuclear retaliation over bits of eastern Estonia?

    Yes.

Also, if Russia wants to pull this shit we can just restart colonialism in Africa. The US and Soviet Union basically dismantled all of the European Empires. Now Russia wants to start conquering countries. Not only that but taking over North Africa will allow us to stem the influx of migrants.

  14. Europe rejects America’s ideals of freedom and democracy, but claims to need them to defend their ideal of “freedom”(where freedom is judged by a court) and “democracy”(where there is unlimited re-elections). How pathetic.

  15. I thought everyone was laughing at Russia being weak. This sounds like the military in Europe wanting money and power, cold war style.

  16. EU economy is about 7x the size of Russia’s. if UK is included then more than 8x.

Trump is right on this one. EU should be able to deter Russia on its own, and easily. But for political reasons, EU prefers to hide behind US skirts. Personally I think it’s time for the EU to grow up on matters of defence and accept its responsibility to its own protection.

  17. Europe should constitute ASAP its own defence system and stop depending on the US if they ever want to reach sovereignty. Iraq invasion showed which countries are the little bitches of ‘Murica’s oil compagnies because they depended too much on NATO for their own defence.

It’s also time for Europe to start developing their own arms and stop depending on US’ war industry.

  18. The Americans only have to descend into a civil war situation for the Europeans, including the British, to respond by harmonising and expanding their armed forces. I doubt whether the Russians and any of their fellow travellers would allow that to happen.

  19. I’m not sure that the US military command would tolerate inaction over a Russian attack on Europe… politically, things would get “interesting” for Trump.

  20. si vis pacem, para bellum – if you want peace, prepare for war

I think this is what is going on in many countries at the moment, many aren’t prepared for war in Europe. The uncertainty that Trump might win the election in 2024 is an added bonus.
