The unfortunate aspect to all of this is that Ukraine had eyeballs on the armor movements and in the mid 5 minute mark the unloading of men, and up to that point they should have been bombarding them. But it was only after the men unloaded that they could spare a few shells. Instead the defenders are passively waiting for mines to do what they can.

   Every meter of the way from the outset these ruzzians should have been under fire. We all know about the shell hunger for 155mm but 120 mm mortar would have been fine in this case. A battery of 4 x 120mm pumping out the rounds would have inflicted grievous harm upon the enemy.

5. Retreat until you have more ammo. We’ll win in the end!
