Idk if this is the place or not. I got a German snack box in the mail today, it was EXCELLENT! The Germans have never disappointed me on snacks, except for the ones that are really hard to find (Bifi Carazza) The Haribo licorice, Milka bar, Smarties Buttons & ham chips were my favorites

  1. I’d say the waffle cookies (edit: I assumed the pink thing with the monuments in the upper left corner was Wanner waffles. Looks like that’s just a card to go with the package, though. The colour ist just so similar and I figured it was a special edition), Corny, Kinder Country, the Milka things and the Smarties (but without the white chocolate around them) are easy to get in a German store. The rest I have either never seen over here (in the case of red ‘liquorice’ I hope it stays that way, I’ll have actual liquorice instead, thank you) or in case of Lays I’d say they should have used paprika/Hungarian flavoured Funny-Frisch or Crunchips.

That aside, I’m glad you enjoyed these, authentic or not.

  2. I think the only german goodie here is the Kinder country.
Riffle chips are some spanish ham style. Even the Milka is with LU cookie, which is from France.

  3. Are you referring to we as in the States, or was it a new sentence/new topic? We have Kinder eggs in the states, though idk if they’re what you’re thinking of. Plastic shell, fudge one side, hazelnut other, crispy balls, and a toy. Never had one, but they’re everywhere, at least in Illinois they are.

  4. I love Kinder country but i know alot of ppl who dont like it. I think its the most controversial Kinder sweet. Sad you didnt got Kinder Riegel or Kinder Schokobons instead. Wasted opportunity.

  5. Milkybar and the white Smarties i dont found here, but you can buy and found much here now we has Shops with food from every wehre.

  6. Smarties, Milkybar, lays and the other bag above lays are NOT German snacks. BIFI is 😉
Tip: best to find at gas stations 😉

  7. How can Ruffles Jamón be german? In which supermarket are they to find? They are Spanish! And I miss them.

Haribo mega torcidos are in Spanish, but I’m sure you can find them here to. They are jus too international I’d say.

  8. As a german… I only know The “Kinder Corny, the “Corny BIG” and the Milka chocolate (try white oreo, Daim or Smarties, this three are my favotites)

Lay’s Bugles are a dutch product iirc.

  9. As a person who has been living in Germany for 4 years I must say I have never seen these snacks before, except the corny bar. That shit is delicious as shit. Banana is the best flavour.

  10. I would only call 4, 8 and 10 actually German as you would easily find them in a German supermarket. I’ve never heard or seen all of the other ones. (also: all Milka and Kinder products are usually awesome!)

  11. Sorry to hijack the thread – what german snacks do y’all recommend and where to find them? (I know some stores don’t carry certain things for example only Aldi carries some sort of chocolate..)
