Trump says he would encourage Russia to ‘do whatever the hell they want’ to any NATO country that doesn’t pay enough

  1. Sounds like the perfect US defense strategy, to encourage your enemy to conquer all territory of all your own allies…???

  2. Trump also forgets that loosing European support means the end of the US as the only superpower. Also why would Europe have to pay for the war in UA if the promise wasn’t even made by them? Yet at this moment it’s Europe that is contributing most to the war due to his partymembers blocking the aid. If Trump gets elected I guess it’s better to look towards the east then.

  3. If the orange man child gets elected I think Europe has to realise its on its own, we need to sort out problems in our back yard ourselves. Trump is going to take the States into fascisim so we dont actually want to be associated with them anyway if that is the case.

Start ramping up ammo production and increase our troop numbers ready for when the Orcs pick on one of us

  4. Reagan must be turning in his grave seeing how the GOP went to hell with the orange furball.

  5. Well.. all the neighbors of Ruzzia, who are in the nato, pay the required 2%… so this does not really mean anything. Just making everyone mad and talking about him all the time.

Edit! Romania seems little under 2%. So we really only talk about Romania here… and yes the whole thing is idiotic and madness.

  6. He’s Americas biggest Traitor. He will lose in November. Can’t wait

  7. I can only imagine how much money Putin is pouring into the US election to secure his orange puppet in the White House.

  8. Goodbye USA. If Trump is elected. I will not spend more than 1€ in the American economy. And I will vote for a government that will no longer buy equipment from the USA. Boycott America by Trump

  9. Trump is a liar: NATO invoked its collective defense clause (Article 5) for the first and only time in its history in response to the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.

  10. Big words from a guy who doesn’t pay his bills.

I really hate assholes like this guy. Everyone‘s poorer for the dissent he’s spreading. Him and Putin and every fucking we-against-them (wannabe) dictator.

Sure, pouring money in the military will make everyone’s life better /s It’s certainly not about funneling money and power to one’s friends in an attempt to divide the world in a ruling class and serfs. /s

  11. He’s only stating the obvious, he’s always said to those NATO countries who weren’t paying the agreed %, to pay it. It’s the same thing today.

He needn’t worry though, NATO countries will be spending more before he even has a chance to enter office, “IF” he gets elected.

  12. Absolutely do not support Trump or warmongering… but… could this be a play to just get other NATO countries to cough up? Maybe he’s playing 2 moves ahead.

  13. FYI… why is this even in this sub? It had zero to do with Ukraine.

These “news outlets” twisting this BS. And whether you like the way it was said or not, he’s 100% right in saying you shouldn’t be a member state and afforded protection if you aren’t upholding your end of the deal.

He said, “No, I would not protect you,” Trump recalled telling that country’s leader. “In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”

  14. This is pretty rich coming from the guy who doesnt pay taxes and grifts government hand outs lol. This orange lard is truly the most bankrupt man in america.

  15. He needs to see what countries are pulling their economic weight per GDP https://www.statista.com/statistics/1303450/bilateral-aid-to-ukraine-in-a-percent-of-donor-gdp/ if the USA was giving the percentage of the GDP Estonia is giving it be 285.6 Billion in aid. Be a smart move only spending 1.26% of your GDP to reduce a “superpower” to ruin. I’d use this as a good investment using 32% of your military spending to mess up Ruzzia 😀 but Trump won’t as he’s a Kremlin puppet.

  16. Comment is definitely taken out of context. Why does the USA, need to protect the nations that didn’t contribute the required amount (2% GDP) to NATO. Why does the United States tax payers need to carry this debt burden, and let European countries who will be impacted by this war on a much bigger scale get away scotch free? I may not like Trump, but he is right on this one. Europe for Gods sake needs to get their Military industrial complex in order. Canada can barely provide 1% of GDP to NATO. That’s not fair to the United States. Trump may have a plan, he won’t let Ukraine fall. He will let the United States contribute financially for this war but under the condition all European nations meet minimum 2% GDP to nato. This has been long over due

  17. Pay enough for what? Just straight up extortion for protection like the mafia?

  18. He will immediately pull out of NATO and chaos will ensue while he gets richer with his new properties in ruzzia.

  19. Some people in this thread don’t understand that many NATO countries have a very long history of not meeting their agreed upon commitments and thus leaving the US to shoulder a larger burden and weaken NATO overall.

One of the reasons that Ukraine can’t get the shells it needs is because many NATO countries haven’t met their commitments for the last 50 years so there’s no deep stockpiles to draw from. And that goes for other weapons systems.

So Trump maybe an asshole but he understands that some of these partners haven’t been pulling their own weight.

  20. All the simple rubes cheering for it too. My goodness, what a cult.

  21. Ok, so Russia can invade our country according to Trump? Does that idiot knows how much US personal and military (nukes) equipment is placed in Europe?

  22. Why the American public does not shun Trump as a traitor is beyond me. He is against everything that America stands for and is working tirelessly to embolden our enemies. Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea will have the opportunity of a century to break the transatlantic alliance.
