Mostly performed by children and of course a donation for the catholic church is due, as well as some sweets for the kids.
How do the star singers know which family wants this written on their door?

Ah lot of churches also offer stickers instead of the chalk writings.
I was a star singer as a kid (Late 90s) and we switched to stickers cause a lot of people wanted to keep the blessings from previous years and the stickers are more durable than a chalk writing.
We need this in the FAQ.
