-ουδης? Νομίζω ότι τα επίθετα σε -ιδης είναι περισσότερα στη Β. Ελλάδα.
Δεν είναι ακριβώς έτσι, παραλείπει κάποια στοιχεία. Π.χ. παρατσούκλια = νησιά, δυσύλλαβα = Ήπειρος κλπ

I wonder if the -idis suffix on many Pontic and Black Sea region Greek surnames is related to the Georgian surname suffix -dze.
Many Griko surnames in southern Italy originally had the -akis suffix, which now end in -aci or -ace. Such as Geraci/Ieraci/Gerace (“Gerakis”) or Sorace/Soraci/Surace/Suraci (“Syrakis”), Starace (“Stavrakis”) and so on.

-oglou and -idis usually are associated with pontic greeks, meaning “the son of-“. also -oglou’s equivalent in turkish is exactly “oğlu”. so you can also see many people with last names ending with -oğlu in turkey as well.
