  9. Is there any way that we can see how popular these two are in their constituency? Like any polls or anything?

    A lot of people here and other places online are always talking about how no one likes them and that they won’t get re-elected.

    But, the fact that Daly was a two-time TD before becoming an MEP and Wallace was a one-time TD before becoming an MEP would suggest that they’ve been popular enough their entire political careers so I’m wondering if there’s any actual data to back up the sentiment I regularly see in this sub and other places online.

I hope at least Clare Daly gets elected again as she calls out the hypocrisy in the west and no doubt there’s many that would like to see her gone only for them to replace by yes men/women who won’t challenge anything. If what they say is so wrong, then how come it’s never shown in the media on their speeches?

  11. This is the third time they’ve tried to shut down any criticism. IIRC theyve tried to get a journalist barred from the EU parliament, and they’re suing RTE for some undisclosed reason.

    And yet they’ll still be gobshites who act like they’re some truth tellers.

  15. Given the shite they’re spouting in the EU Parliament, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are being bankrolled by the Kremlin.

    Hope to God we have the good sense to send some other kind of national embarrassment in June.
