Everytime I see French people sucking up, it’s kind of like an uncool kid at school trying to fit in….. and Luigi’s just out here dunking on them. It’s highly amusing but feels like an abusive relationship at this point, I think the other nations need to organise an intervention.

  15. Funny how we interpret things differently, each time i see italians or spanish criticizing us, i feel the bitterness of people who watch a more successful neighbours taking the spotlight and thus cannot appreciate the good side of them because of their needs to be in competition.

    While in France we clearly don’t think about them as rivals and that’s why we can freely appreciate what their countries can offer.

    But coming from a Barry who has the same bitter relationship with us while irl no one cares here, i guess i’m not surprised by your interpretation

  19. Italy has never lost its prestige in the French mind. Once it was accepted as a brother country there was no coming back.

    Ask any French people what is the most beautiful or sexy language and to them it’s often Italian too.

    They would not know why Italians could hate them.
