Long vent.

I have ordered things from a person on [finn.no](https://finn.no) . They accepted my offer (which we agreed in teh conversation) through Fiks Ferdig, they accepted. they the weird stuff came, first they said they can’t print the ettiquet. Later they asked if they can send it with norgespakke instead of other option. Then finally they said that they have changed mind and will not sell things (but i paid with Fiksferdig). Later on seller delated the annonse, but did not cancel the transaction.

First finn said that i have the right to demand that the avtale goes as agreed. Then in general, they wash they hands and say the seller has right to cancel due to the package problems, and they can make a new offer with correct one. Even tho i sent them a screenshot with the seller saying they change their mind and will not sell it, days after they accepted the offer.

i asked them what can i do about that, as i consider it as a scam, to sell things and dont send them, as after accepting my money, the thing is officially mine. Finn said it is not a svindel cause i paid with tryggbetaling and will get my money back. So there is no consequences for the seller. Thety do not get blocked, and i can’t leave a review that they did it.

I just needed to vent, cause i find it completely unacceptable that finn doesnt seem a problem with people selling things and not following through, just because i was smart and protected myself by trygg betaling. And that they protect the people like that by making it impossible for me to give a review/vurdering about the situation. Ridiculous

  1. Finn is becoming shitter and shittier. Moving forward I suggest you only do transactions face to face (if possible). Agree on a price and a place via finn but never pay before hand or never send things before receiving the product. Good luck

  2. Was scammed by a moron who sold me a American Wii U without the massive and expensive controller which wasn’t even compatible with European controllers without even informing me of anything. Made a case with tvistnemda or whatever the name was and it was ruled i was scammed and he was forced to pay. You can do the same.

  3. If you bought something through fiks ferdig and the seller doesn’t ship the item he will never get the money and the transaction will be cancelled after 10 days I think it is.

    Anyway, when you buy something through fiks ferdig the seller doesn’t get any money until after you’ve received the item. So while of course annoying and scummy I wouldn’t really call it a scam

  4. OP is in the wrong here. It says everywhere on finks ferdig that buyer gets money back if something goes wrong. Lo and behold, this is what’s happening, OP gets his money back.

    Yet he’s very unhappy and calls that a scam and comes and makes this huge post on Reddit.

    I bet he’s found some item that seller somehow listed way cheaper than it costs and changed his mind. And OP is very unhappy and tries to twist it like it’s a scam.

    It’s not a huge problem that Finn ignores.

  6. I don’t know why the seller thinks they need to print anything. PostNord will print it for you at the dropoff point, Posten just requires you to write a code directly on the package and Helt Hjem will come pick it up.

    Sounds like they just changed their mind and made a lame excuse about it. Shitty thing to do but hardly a scam. You’ll get the money back.

  7. not a scam. both seller and buyer have the right to cancel a order they sent/received. its only a issue if they refuse to give money back or leave you in eternal limbo so you neither get money back or your item. in this case only thing you lost is time spent waiting, and that happens. nothing criminal about it.
