Bohdan, a third-year student, majored in French and wanted to organize his own theater. But he set aside all of this and volunteered to defend Ukraine. He fought on the Bakhmut front. He died two days ago.

  1. Bohdan Ihnatiuk was born on December 10, 1996, in the village of Serednyi Bereziv of the Yablunivska community. He studied at the Department of French Philology at the Prykarpattia National University.

    According to his university lecturer Tamara Tkachuk, he volunteered to defend his homeland while in his third year of studies. He began his service in April 2023. Bohdan served in the 116th Mechanized Brigade near Bakhmut. He was seriously wounded and was in intensive care.
