  2. True , we try to copy our past way too much and football has changed now that style of play won’t work now even if we execute it perfectly which is highly unlikely considering how we play

  4. Funny, a change at Barça took effect when Deco got sold in 2008.

  8. Sackable offence imo. Laporta has shown very little vision since he came. Deco can’t say that. Our method is the only thing that’s saving us. All the 16 year olds that are our best players on the pitch are a product of this method. You think these players understand how to play anything else? The problem isn’t the method, the problem is the application of said method. Xavi hasn’t been able to do it. In fact, our problems come from our terrible high press this season and our constant rush to play a direct football with no control in our midfield. We definitely aren’t playing under our ‘method’.

    Just last season, this team with Xavi’s “method” was dominating RM and the league.

    It’s not the method. It’s the inconsistent application of the method.
