Lots of bush/Outback danger signs here in Australia have a German translation. It seems a very high proportion of tourists who die in the bush/Outback are German. What is it about German tourists that they get into trouble here so much?

Australia is a very popular travel destination among Germans and we don’t really have much dangerous things here so people probably underestimate some dangers.
None of the things in those signs exist in Germany. There aren’t any crocodiles, or any other kinds of wildlife (above the size of a tick) that are a realistic danger (yes, wild boars are a thing, but they don’t attack unprovoked, and it’s not really something to realistically worry about). And asbestos is something you’d expect in very old unrenovated buildings, not outside.
