  1. It looks like you went to a safari park and one of the rhinos mistook your car for a lady rhino

  2. Was this a spill or did tin just pop?

Always securely bag your paint tins, especially brand new tins.

  3. Jesus Christ. What do you even do except just burn it?

  4. The car needs to be scrapped

How do you even clean this up?

  5. 10+ years ago I worked in B&Q and a guy came in the exit asking for some help. I grabbed the cleaning supplies and went with him to his car where he had spilled half a 5 gallon bucket of white paint inside his boot, down the bumper and on the tarmac. I felt so sorry for him. All we could do was help him out trying to clean up the paint from his car, and put cones around the paint in the car park to stop people from driving through it. Every so often I’ll be in the car park and see that splodge of paint and feel sorry for him all over again. His car was a mess. I expect he had to get the bumper painted.

  6. Na, wife headed off in the car and the gearbox failed.

  7. Well I got out the police station at 12, 30+ missed calls and a meeting with the big boss tomorrow and sacked from my part time job aswell so yer my Monday is goin splendid, anyone know where I left my noose

  8. Ouch. Good luck getting that clean. I remember in my old car I had a gallon of sadolin Forrest green wood stain in the boot when I did an emergency stop for a Houdini of a sodding horse and ended up with a green boot forevermore.

  9. Suspicious that most of it is on the handbrake, is this a coverup story for some weird kink ?

The shops selling paint here put a tape around the rim to stop this happening. Although putting the paint in the boot in a bag helps too.

  10. Well this morning I decided to turn on my wipers with an icey windscreen and snapped the whole driver side one off, so not quite as bad maybe but not great.

  11. I’ve been there. Bought a second hand Ford focus and within one week of buying it I spilled 2.5 litres of white emulsion in the footwell, which then spread to the seats. But don’t worry!!! Because it was emulsion, it was fixable. I scooped out what I could and kept it wet by placing bags over the worst parts until I could get a valet. Cost me £85 but almost good as new afterwards.

  12. I.. have questions.

I usually put paint in the boot, that kind of looks like what happens when you go over a speed bump trying to drink coffee…

  13. Wouldn’t recommend getting our paint in your car, tho I have heard of people using masonry paint on the outside of their cars with good results, working in a paint shop gives you a deep hatred of paint

  14. This is a known problem in the UK the super markets know and are getting away with not reimbursing customers

  15. Paint tech here. Methylated spirits will remove all the paint from hard surfaces! seat.. can’t say it won’t stain. IPA would work too but much more expensive

  16. Looks like ectoplasm to me. You sure it wasn’t a spooky ghost?

  17. Never realised how phallic a handbrake is until now.

  18. Set an open bottle of paint remover on the centre console and go for a drive

  19. My day started at 0545hrs, bathing my 3yo who had got his own shit all over himself, and me. I would choose that over your morning every time. I hope your day got better.
