  1. Seems like a strange story. How did the whales get stuck in that small space? They didn't just swim there and the ice formed a trap immediately. And if someone can be there filming or send a drone, they can surely do something, too, like breaking some ice. But humans love to just film, and watch while living beings suffer and die.

  2. How long can they hold their breath? Hopefully if they take a deep enough dive maybe they can find an opening large enough to free themselves!🤔🖤🤍

  3. Praying 🙏🏽 that these whales 🐋 were saved. Russia 🇷🇺 has ice breakers. Please 🙏🏽 Japan 🇯🇵 let them in. 🙏🏽🐋😇⭕️❌💔

  4. Isn't there some water below the ice, or their bodies totally enveloped by ice ?
    Try dive….dive….dive ?
That's what they would normally do when trying to shove a seal off the ice into the water.

  5. Japan should have it's own ice breakers. There should be a international first response for sea life. Never mind saving dime a dozen humans who are just effing this planet up.

  6. They aren’t trapped it’s just the only hole they have found to come up for air. They will be fine. Nature always finds a way to

  7. This phenomenon is part of nature

Young and strong individuals can escape by diving under the ice.

This herd could not decide to abandon babies and older individuals.
