  1. And it was a “sorry you didnt like it” style non-pology

  2. He’s gross. Something is just not right with that guy. Seems roided out and reckless.

  3. This is why that meme about how the politicians should have to wear the names on their sponsors like NASCAR never actually makes sense. They just say “those companies didn’t donate go me, they donated to a super pac I’m legally not allowed to have any communication with.

We gotta change those laws. The part that’s supposed to help us is ignored with glee, as candidates and super pacs find incredibly easy loopholes around it, but then used as a shield when it’s useful “oh no I’m sorry you didn’t like that ad but I’m powerless, I legally can’t contact them.”

  4. I think this headline is misleading.

RFK didn’t really apologize for the ad – he apologized if someone didn’t like it. Subtle, but important, difference.

  5. It was awesome. Especially the way it suddenly injected politics into our Super Bowl party. Went really well. /s

  6. Can’t even get off his family’s coattails to make a campaign ad

  7. The shaking moving pictures made this seem like it was made by someone’s first attempt at a video software lol

  8. Even I thought that commercial was kinda in bad taste given his family’s history, and I don’t invest in politics. Your dad and uncle literally died for their causes and principles. Some things should be sacred dude.

  9. I was wondering who tf he thought was watching. Nana and Pop Pop had sundowned by 6PM already.

  10. That commercial made rfk jr look like an even bigger douchebag,if that was possible.

  11. As long as he accidentally runs interference on Trump, I don’t mind him being a total loser.

  12. The Kennedy name doesn’t matter that much anymore. It’s not like there haven’t been Kennedys since the ’60s, but none of them have been serious contenders for President. This clown isn’t either.

  13. Sorry your feelings are hurt and sorry I hurt your feelings are not the same thing and damn I wish people read articles and not just headlines…

  14. I had a sudden urge to put flamingos in my front yard and a bunker in my back yard after seeing this

  15. Even after half of JFKs head was blown off he was still smarter than this moron

  16. I’m imagining one of the younger Taylor Swift fans tuned into the game, potentially looking at voting for the first or second time this November, and having to ask her dad why this ad looks like something from those Ren and Stimpy cartoons he watched in the 90s.

  17. He’s nothing like his dad or his uncle’s. That was just trying to run on the Kennedy name, and it was tacky.
His whole thing on being anti vax especially when JFK signed the vaccination assistance act, to help poor children. And that’s just one example of the differences
and I was one of those poor children

  18. RFK is lucky Sirhan Sirhan stopped him from seeing his son turn into an ambulance-chasing shitbird.

  19. Every Superbowl has a really odd moment, and this was the one.

  20. I laughed out loud that he left “vote democratic” in the ad.

  21. That was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. Banking that people will think Kennedy=Democrat, so that they siphon votes from Biden and give Rs the win. Foul.

  22. The best part of the ad was how it gave no information about him, just his name

  23. RFK Jr. thinks he has the political chops of JFK.

    He does not.

  24. That homage to his dead Democratic relatives was deceptive propaganda. His real views reflect the views of his conservative financiers backing his campaign. They want him to split the Democratic vote, so Trump can win.

  25. When this ran we all looked at each other and asked “was that a real campaign ad?”

  26. Because he doesn’t care.

And he didn’t apologize for the ad. He “apologized” if we were offended by it.

  27. Stolen honor, like Trump ranting about his super smart uncle.

  28. “Would you vote for an independent?” – Sure would

“Would you vote for RJK Jr’s crazy ass?” – Absolutely not

  29. It was a weird ad. All it did was cash in on his family name and imply he is carrying on in the same tradition. It didn’t cover any policies.

I found it odd that you hear almost nothing from RFK but I’m not sure it matters. He’s not stealing any hardcore Trump or Biden voters. Trump voters are in a cult and Biden voters know a vote for Biden, even if you’re not a huge Biden fan, is the only way to stop Trump.

If the remaining voters are not happy with Biden or Trump and the election isn’t until November, I’m not sure third party candidates need to get started early. Waiting to campaign actually gives RFK fewer chances to say crazy conspiracy shit on the record.

It’s hard to predict how a third party candidate will impact an election. However, it seems like the more RFK talks publicly, the more he will turn off Biden-leaning voters and attract Trump-leaning voters.

  30. The ad was definitely in terrible taste, but I wouldn’t call it unsurprising. It’s very much par for the course. Every male member of the Kennedy family has used the legacy of JFK and RFK Sr for clout since the 60s, and all of them have proved to be entitled and out-of-touch with voters. They lean on wealth and entitlement without using their intelligence, which is why they continue to move closer to the Republican party and QAnon narrative than they do to the Democratic party that they’re all historically branded and tied to. The Republican party gives the Kennedys exactly what they want: a promise of exponential, unchecked wealth and power without accountability, which is how that family has operated since the beginning.

It’s horrible what happened to JFK, but he got elected to the presidency through his father’s mob ties and a cabal of Hollywood elites looking for the appearance of power and clout. RFK Sr actually put his money where his mouth was as an AG and civil rights leader, but the rest of the Kennedys are truly just rich people who get to be political candidates simply because they’re Kennedys. It’s no surprise that RFK Jr claims to be a Democrat while currying favor with the Q wing of the GOP, and that he thinks that lazy Super Bowl ad is somehow appropriate or effective.

  31. “The ad was created and aired by the American Values Super PAC without any involvement or approval from my campaign. FEC rules prohibit Super PACs from consulting with me or my staff. I love you all. God bless you.”

    Sure, he had no idea…..

  32. You mean the add where he says nothing other than “look! My name is Kennedy!”

  33. I think it is so cute that republicans think Kennedy is going to pull votes from Biden. Kennedy only attends right-wing events and appears on conservative media.

  34. I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. You’re no Jack Kennedy.
