  1. I loved listening to Bob Edwards and was very upset when he was removed from Morning Edition. He was really, really good! 😢

  3. I am still peeved how NPR did him dirty (side eye Steve I.- how do you sleep at night)

    Bob was the best. When 9/11 happened I had no TV but Bob relayed the tragedy with a mix of awe at the awfulness and stoicism in order to get the story, and I am still thankful for his professionalism and skill in those shattering moments as the terror unfolded.

  4. Maybe 18 years ago, my wife and daughter and I shared dinner with him traveling overnight on the Amtrak between Chicago and Seattle. A true gentleman.
