  1. This article covers the views of some Americans fighting for Ukraine and the thoughts they have for the U.S. Congress. I want to highlight regular ways that Americans can support their efforts to be heard. They have valuable and powerful voice here and you can help amplify it.

    1. The article references the R.T. Weatherman Foundation. That is www. weathermanfoundation.org and it’s an excellent 501c3 that is helping Americans wounded or killed in Ukraine and also organizing for them to speak with Congressional representatives. I have worked with this NGO regularly and they do great work. They were responsible for finding the remains of Willy Cancel and Grady Kurpasi, the first Americans killed in Ukraine, and they also now coordinate treatment for foreign military volunteers at Landstuhl hospital. A lot of the flights home through Protect a Volunteer are for the fighters who were first brought to Landstuhl for treatment. Please check their website for ways to support them.

    2. You also see a quote from John Jackson here. A few days ago I shared a video from John. John was a lawyer before fighting in Ukraine and is a particularly effective messenger on why it is legally and morally the right decision to continue to support Ukraine. You can follow him on Twitter at @hissgoescobra.

    3. In a few days Protect a Volunteer is flying home an American who is coming back for a break and to meet with multiple companies and government representatives on how to get more support for people fighting in Ukraine. His name is Matthew Sampson and he is a Marine Scout Sniper who served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and has been in Ukraine fighting for 600+ days. We normally don’t support volunteers while they’re at home, but in this case he is still doing valuable work and he requested help with affording a rental car to get to everyone with whom he needs to meet. If this is something you would like to support, sign up at protectavolunteer.com (click the Supplies Donor form and you can specify you want to help him).

    4. Normally most Americans fighting in Ukraine don’t like talking to the media. Given the urgency of the situation though, now many are willing and know they need to speak up about what they have seen in Ukraine and what Ukraine needs. If you are a journalist who wants to talk to Americans, I know at least 5 who are willing to talk and share their views. (This is rare; usually if I mention journalist they say they would rather talk to a tree so this many saying absolutely I will is a pretty strong indicator of how they feel).

  2. I call on Mike Johnson to grow a pair, stiffen his spine(if he has one), and spit trump and putins dicks out and put this up for a vote. Ukrainians are dying and losing ground because of this 1 Kremlin funded asshole and us Americans are sick of it
