Not surprising, I think this just shows that the people that claimed they were boycotting because of that ex 49ers quarterback kneeling for the anthem seven years ago or the people that said they were boycotting because the league didn’t support said quarterback enough during the same time period and allegedly “blackballed” him from the league, have both been shown to be inconsequential
It’s not really surprising. The top 10 most watched events are all Super Bowl games except the finale of M*A*S*H. Add in the number of people who started paying attention to the NFL world wide because of Taylor Swift and of course it was the most watched.
