A man jumped into action after the terrifying moment a toddler was spotted walking on a roof in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on Tuesday, February 6.

Cody Duplessis recorded this footage showing a person wearing a red hoodie climbing onto a roof to pull the child away from the edge. Duplessis can be heard stating his disbelief behind the camera.

According to local news outlet WJAR, Woonsocket police said the two-year-old climbed out of a window that her mother left open because it was hot in their apartment.

WJAR added that the State of Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth, and Families was notified.
