*Note : Transfermarkt calculated also Ronaldo(30m), and Zakaria who joined few months later (27m).
He talks a lot about teams built to win. I don’t know about that, he inherited the most valuable squad on paper, and in the process with “all the economic difficulties” still spent more than everybody else.
He also has the great advantage of the B squad.
On pitch achievements during his second spell Juve has been 4th at best: Inter multiple titles + ucl final, Milan title + ucl semis, Napoli Title + semis. Juve 0 Maccabi Haifa & Villareal.
Every year he talks about fighting scudetto the next year. And the year after he says scudetto was never the goal lol. Even this year all those praises to end up having an equal if not worse season than Pioli(highly criticized always).
Players are just as good as you make them and just as good as you select them. I think the quality and resources are there, for someone that knows what he’s doing.
4th to 5th results overall, pound per pound if you account resources, way way worse for the highest paid coach in the league

Look at the team composition. Squad value is the least reliable way to assess the competitiveness of a squad . Take Chelsea for example by that way the should be champions of England. The squad is half baked and pathetic we have 3 b2b midfielders with engines but no creativity lb is non existent. Squad dept is so bad u need 15-19 year olds on the bench from next gen just to complete the squad. Inter Milan are a well oiled machine I hate to say this but the pieces fit and because they are older some of the players are undervalued. Vlahovic is at best is a 45-50 mil striker nowhere close to 90. Latauro is valued at 90 see the gap in class. We are already over achieving with this squad at this point we being spoken as challengers was only a big thing given how badly constructed this squad is .
