  1. “it is a tradition in Ireland”

So was clerical sex abuse, and shunting unmarried mothers into slave labour.

  2. There’s also absolutely no way you can have THAT many dogs and have them treated well. Probably all sister-cousins to each other too.

  3. If a bunch of lads turned up on scramblers with pitbulls to go fox hunting, they’d be arrested promptly. It’s basically a different rule for the wealthy

  4. As someone who was involved with this when I was younger I can promptly say that things I’ve seen done to foxes will be something I won’t be forgetting anytime soon…

  5. Drag hunting is a fantastic activity and is great for the horses and dogs who adore it… it would be nice if insurance would cover that at least. Fox hunting is a terrible activity and even when I worked in stables as a kid, no one I knew would be part of fox hunting…

  6. the whole “its a tradition” thing is a pointless excuse to make. if it was banned right now then we would be a country that doesnt allow hunting animals for sport and that would also become our tradition

  7. I used to love horse riding in my teenage years, enjoyed the competitions. But this is something I never understood. Why like? It doesn’t even seem like fun.

  8. This is a English culture thing that has somehow remained since them days,
98% of Ireland would ban this shit immediately if more news was shown about it
