Yesterday most of this subreddit watched combat footage of a Chosen Company mission. That footage had a Canadian volunteer who got injured and then very politely asked to change position. This is a written statement from him on how it felt to be there and how you can support his team.

Yesterday, some very intense combat footage was released showing Chosen Company on a mission known as Shovel Op from August 23, 2023. Chosen Company is a team of foreigners that is part of the 59th Brigade. They do some of the toughest fighting in Ukraine.
One of the soldiers in the video is a Canadian PKM gunner with the call sign Dirty P. He is injured in the video.
A lot of people had questions about what happened to him and how they can support Chosen Company. He has some answers! He wrote this statement and can also respond to some questions (well he will respond, I will relay it).
If you do want to support Chosen Company, Protect a Volunteer is vetted by the mods here and we support the team. Go to [protectavolunteer.com](https://protectavolunteer.com) and they’re the “Loveable Bozos” on the Paypal dropdown menu. You can also sign up to be a supplies donor or flight donor and get directly matched up with a soldier. Dirty P is one of the soldiers we have directly matched with donors.
Except Poland is now blocking all the aid that comes through, since much if not most of it is trucked in.
These guys are built different. Great read.
Enlightening learning from Dirty P’s experiences. I hope his recovery goes well, that is so 😨. We must get those guys night vision stuff.
