Man rescued from burning flat after e-bike catches fire #shorts
This man was pulled from a burning flat after an ebike Court fire in the early hours of Wednesday the 7th of February the fire is believed to have been caused by the failure of a lithium battery in an ebike which was being stored in his hallway blocking his Fire Escape Route
In 2023 there were 155 ebike fires in London alone with three people dying and more than 60 hurt but why will the London fire brigade believe that batteries are exploding because they’ve been poorly built counterfeit or have become damaged they’ve also called for legislation for online marketplaces to ensure that products like batteries
Charges and conversion kits are strictly regulated
