  5. I wonder if it’s better for Ukraine to leave this big ships going since they don’t seem to contribute to the war much and eat Russia’s funding in maintenance.

    Maybe the best is to severely damage but not sink a ship so that it takes up maintenance and shipyard space and dollars. A sunk ship costs nothing but a damaged ship is a ton of money.
