The House of Lords NI Debate has just ended. Of the 800 odd Peers there was only one English Back Bencher present in both the Tory and Labour Benches and Nil on the LibDem and Cross Benches. The important message to my fellow unionists in NI is that the English have no interest!!

I’m sure “we don’t care that they don’t care” will be the retort from Fleg enthusiasts, Bonny Engineers and Irish Sea Border Fighters…..but it begs the question why have you hitched your wagon to them, based your entire cultural identity around their institutions, tried so desperately to be like them and of course in doing so ensured the continued partition of Ireland and the fate of half of NI who absolutely don’t share your enthusiasm for them.

They know that the British establishment do not give 1 flying feck about em & I find that funny.
Can only imagine at this stage the English are desperate to get rid of this never ending, non stop problematic headache financial hole.
To be fair they put themselves in that position.
