  1. He’s gone Country. They are touring together.

  2. You know he’s gonna bust it out one day during one of his post-poop sesh showers. Just for him.

  3. I’m pretty sure he promised that ten or twenty years ago already.

  4. If you get the chance to see him, definitely do! His collaboration with Alison Kraus has been amazing too. I’ve seen him a few times (including with her) and it’s always a great show

  5. Clickbait bullshit headline. The interviewer speculated that it *could* be the last time Plant ever sings it, and Plant casually agreed it was possible but went on to say he didn’t know:

    >**Interviewer: Robert, you sang “Stairway to Heaven” for the first time in many years at a charity event last year. What did that feel like?**

    >
    >***Plant****: It was cathartic. People go, “Oh, that’s good. He never was going to do that.” But I didn’t really do it! I just blurted it out. ‘Cause it’s such an important song to me for where I was at the time and where I was with Jimmy and with John and Bonzo. So on that night, it was what it was. It was a trial by fire, but I felt better at the end than at the beginning.*

    >**Interviewer: I was thinking it could be the last time you ever sing that song. Would you be OK with that?**

    >
    >***Plant****: Yeah, I think you’re probably right. I haven’t got around to doing the ice-skating rinks in Finland yet with a small orchestra [laughs]. So I don’t think I’ll be doing that, but I don’t know. Who knows? Something could change somewhere. Spirit and heart could come back in the soul. It’s a long song. Who can remember all those words?*

  6. I’m guessing he will…

*’So I don’t think I’ll be doing that, but I don’t know. Who knows? Something could change somewhere. Spirit and heart could come back in the soul.’*

  7. So disappointed they won’t be anywhere near me. Would love to see this concert.

  8. He looks like a lion from a production of wizard of oz

  9. I haven’t been able to listen to that song since the 80s. If you grew up in the 70s you just couldn’t escape that damn song, until it was burned into your brain because it was played incessantly omg make it stop

Seriously, I love Zeppelin, but f that song.

  10. And there was much rejoicing.

Now if radio would quit playing it.

  11. He helped pick out my then-girlfriend’s ring in a tiny jewelry boutique in downtown Nashville back in the summer of 1998. I guess they were playing their Walking into Clarksdale tour and were out and about digging the city. I had no idea who they were (Jimmy Page was with him) until they left and the cashier started freaking out. It was just me, a friend, them, and the cashier the entire time. My girlfriend wasn’t impressed, but her father came storming out of the kitchen to see the ring. He was way more excited about Led Zeppelin picking out his daughter’s ring than she was.

  12. He absolutely did not say that. What a crock of shit headline. Interviewer TRIED to get him to say that. He didn’t.

  13. Saw him and Krauss play last year and they plays some Zeppelin songs better than Zepplin ever did.
