Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have travelled to Canada to mark the special ‘One Year to Go’ countdown for the 2025 Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex, a former Captain in the British Army, originally founded the sports tournament for wounded military service personnel in 2014.

Canada is a special place for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It was during the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto where Harry and Meghan first made their debut as a couple. The 2017 Games also gave us the famous moment

  5. No-one cares, they don’t need to be featured on the royal channel and the website of the royal working family. Why hasn’t Harry done something about to help the African parks people. Please, please do something about these two, they keep hurting their families and destroying lives. Praying for the royal family!

The Invictus games was an initiative of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (at that time and they let Prince Harry ride their coattails) in partnership with the Ministry of defence. The event was organised by a specially formed committee supported by the delivery team from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It was headed up by Sir Keith Mills who was the chairman and CEO of the Olympic and Paralympic games of 2012. In 2014 with his experience from being the chairman and CEO of those games, HE (NOT HARRY) established and became the chairman Of the Invictus Games.

  26. He did not found the games on his own. It was in conjunction with the royal foundation of Catherine and William. Harry forgets to mention this. Also William and Catherine donated £1000000 to the games. Again never mentioned. Harry is not the founder he is the Patron, big difference
